How do you take wind energy to energy for your home?

zachbell asked:

If you have an alternator hooked up to a few blades outside, then what do you do with the two wires from the generator? How can it be used?
Can it power my computer? What circuitry does it take to charge a car battery with it? If possible, can it be integrated into my home power grid?
I see many with wind turbines but they don’t go into how they use it.

Couldn’t the same 4 billion dollar tax breaks the oil companies get be used for wind and solar energy instead?

Does wind power drain electricity?
