I don’t think so. It is like lightning, lots of power briefly at unpredictable times and locations, but 99.99% of the time there is no power available. One big reason solar power has not become more popular is that it is “only” available 12 out of every 24 hours (by that I mean it does not work at night), so if 50% unavailable time is enough to make solar not useful, 99.99% unavailable time is WAY worse.
