    Good day,

Yes a lot of people are moving towards wind and solar power. I have not personally converted yet, but my brother in law did and he is powering his lights and all his appliances with wind power.

There are a lot of DIY guides that will show you how to build your own wind power generator. My brother in law used this websigte to do his conversion

    Hope that helps

    Hi John,
A home built wind turbine can can be made inexpensively and provide reliable power. They do require maintenance, just keep that in mind.

Here is a website that has excellent comparisons on different wind turbines.

    Hope this helps,
    Jordan

Are you talking about windmills, that generate electricity? Sometimes they are also called wind turbines.

If that’s what you are willing to build, then probably the best thing to do is to use a guide called Earth4Energy. It’s really simple to understand and has all you need to know.
